Booking & Refund Policy

1. Cancellation and Postponement by East Coast Surf Safari

East Coast Surf Safari reserves the right to postpone or cancel any adventure due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters (such as bushfires, floods, volcanic eruptions, earthquakes) and political unrest. Additionally, tours may be cancelled due to adverse weather conditions such as thunderstorms and lightning. In such cases, we will notify you via email at least 24 hours before the scheduled tour. You will have the option to reschedule your tour to a later date. Please note that refunds will not be provided under these circumstances or if you change your mind or your personal circumstances change.

2. Customer Cancellation Policy

- 7 Days or More Before Departure: If you cancel your booking 7 days or more before the departure date, there is no cancellation fee*.

- Within 7 Days of Departure:If you cancel your booking within 7 days of the departure date, no refund will be given.

- Date Changes Within 7 Days:A $55 AUD fee applies for any date changes made within 7 days of the start date.

This policy applies to all our Australian products, including Day Surf Adventures and Weekend Trips.

3. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that all participants obtain comprehensive personal travel insurance that includes coverage for surfing, evacuation, and repatriation. While we take every precaution to ensure your safety, East Coast Surf Safari is not responsible for injuries, medical expenses, personal accidents, non-refundable tour costs, or loss or damage of property/equipment while traveling on our tours or participating in any activities arranged by us, our partners, or third-party operators.

4. Personal Property

East Coast Surf Safari does not accept responsibility for the loss or damage of your personal property, regardless of the cause. All surfing participants must be able to swim at least 50 meters unassisted.

5. Itinerary Changes

Please be aware that our itineraries are subject to change. We strive to provide the best possible experience, but certain factors may require adjustments to the planned schedule.

6. Age Requirements

Participants under the age of 18 require consent from a parent or legal guardian.

For any surf trips involving overnight accommodation, participants over the age of 18 will require a parent or guardian to participate or supervise them.

East Coast safaris cannot take responsibility for any costs pertaining to hospitality costs pertaining to any parent or guardian on such trips.

7. Pricing

All prices for East Coast Surf Safari services in Australia are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD).
